This is most important and ONETIME SETUP. Without this setup employee’s monthly salary cannot be calculated for pay runs. Before running of first pay run, HR admin has to assign correct salary component to each employee. This decides the item to be included in payslip calculation and to show in the payslips. This has been defined in detail in the Section 7 – Payslip Components.
