Yes, this setup can be managed from the web check-in configuration for the employees. To activate the location for check-in for a group, follow the path Master Configuration -> Web Checkin Settings and go for following setup as per your organization’s requirement.
- Select “Attendance Can Mark from Office Only” if you want employees assigned to this web check-in group to work from office only. The system will check IP address in the box below to compare the log in IP address. If IP address does not match the IP address maintained in Office Ips box, system will reject the check-in
- Select “Enable Other IP’s if working from Home”, if you want employees form this group to work remotely. This will compare the employee’s remote work location IP address with the registered IP address in the box below
- Select both boxes, if you want this group employee to work from both office and remote location.
