Yes, HivePayroll provides web check-in for the employees. By using this configuration, you can create multiple web check-in profiles to facilitate your employees to start work from office or from a remote location. To open the configuration, follow the path Master Configuration -> Web Checkin Settings and this will take you to the following screen.
- Name: Describe name to create multiple web check-in profile groups
- Enable Night Shift: Tick this to dedicate the check-in group for night shift. This is to differentiate shifts and keep night shift separate from daytime shifts for calculation purpose
- Shift Start Time: Define each shift start time here
- Shift End Time: Define each shift end time here
- Standard Working Hours: Define minimum working hours for the employee groups
- Attendance Can Mark from Office Only: If selected, the system will check IP address in the box below to compare the log in IP address. If IP address does not match the IP address maintained in Office Ips box, system will reject the check-in
- Office Ips: Maintain office IP here. This will be used to identify the log in location for the employees
- Enable Other IP’s if working from Home: If employees form the group are allowed to work remotely, tick this box. This will compare the employee’s remote work location IP address with the registered IP address in the box below
- Other IP’s Employee Can Mark Attendance (HOME): Maintain the employee’s home or remote working location IP address here. This is used to whitelist other Ips, employee can use for check-in. To register remote IP address press button, Add New. Complete IP details in the boxes provided in
- Track Late Coming: Select the box, If you want to track late login for work by your employee.
- Enabled Overtime: Select the box, If you want to enable overtime and track the overtime work done by your employee.
- Once you have completed all details, press Submit button
